This 3-section cushion features a low-profile gel/ memory foam position cushion in the seat, foam back and leg rest. This combination offers position, comfort, support and pressure redistribution for individuals who sit for extended periods of time during the day. Manufactured in the USA by Blue Chip Medical, the recliner overlay fits most standard home recliners and is also ideal for home style lift chairs. The adjustable straps hold the cushion snugly in place. The recliner cushion will not shift of slide even in a lift chair.
Gel & Foam Recliner Low Profile Position Cushion provides the most advanced pressure redistribution, therapeutic support and positioning available. Offers correct posture, proper spinal alignment, trunk stability and all the pressure redistribution characteristics required for a seating application. The front of the seat is slightly higher than the back to help raise the knee. This helps you lean back and helps to prevent sliding forward. The side stability wings help prevent side to side leaning. The leg recess cradles the leg and the pommel helps keep the legs properly positioned. The importantance of proper positioning in the recliner can not be overstated in the prevention of pain and skin breakdown.

The recliner positioning cushion is constructed using Viscotec™, a heat activated visco elastic memory foam which surrounds and supports the bony prominences while redistributing pressure.The recliner positioning overlay is covered with Vyvex-III™ Multi-Stretch Cover and a non-skid Bottom. Cover material is anti-microbial and fire-retardant. Bariatric and custom sizes available.
The Geri Chair Gel Recliner overlay supports up to 250 lbs.
